Stars, low light, frail kindly light pinned to the dark fabric of the night embroidered with yarns of silvery thread in celestial patterns twinkling o'erhead. Some playful fingers set them stray, each loosened star drifts miles away; white streaks of light flare up and 'round, bright glinting stars come falling down. I wonder wherein lie stars that fell - perhaps into a wishing well; or into the top hat of a little boy with a smiling face, heart full of joy; he prances around, both near and far collecting each wishful shooting star. The little thief will steal them all, as soon as sparkles start to fall; he takes them all so he can share the golden stars, so rare and fair ! Once the hat is full, he runs away cheery 'nd giggling along the way.
